Is there anything difficult about reloading the .357 Sig. I've never reloaded a bottle neck pistol cartridge.

Thanks,

Wayne

Wayne..

Sorry about not commenting on this.

I add a few steps but only to make it easier.

1. Tumble the brass and inspect for cracked necks (seems to be more often than any other caliber that I load)

2. Take a .40 S&W carbine sizer die and size

3. Take the .357sig sizer die (steel so lube needed IF I used it to size the WHOLE cartridge) and size the neck. NO LUBE needed. (I also punch the primer out here)

4. Take the expander die and bell the case. Put primers in this step

5. Charge the case. Verify load

6. Place bullet in case and adjust for OAL.

7. Either crimp with seating die or use Factory crimp die. (use the FCD most of the time)

If you don't size with the .40 S&W then lube is the rule. I prefer not to deal with it unless I HAVE to. Like the .223 and up.

Thanks, Bill
