The club I shoot at in Naperville requires non-toxic shot. Our club is the only one I know of in the state that is required to shoot only non-toxic shot.

Does anyone shoot at a club with a similar requirement?

MAC,

WELCOME!

How did your club end up with a non-toxic requirement? In our case it was complex, but we'll just say that the anti-gunners were the major force.

Are you allowed to reload? When we first switched from lead to steel, we were forced to buy factory loads. Since then we have been allowed to reload steel, but every box must be checked to make sure no lead comes on the prem.

I'm not sure about the politcs behind the lead-free requirement, however we can reload w/steel...MAC
