Shannow
Workmate has 4x32 on it at the moment, and while fine for roos, is struggling with birds at 65m...think pigeon and up.He's after reccomendations, as being a little out of the ordinary, it will have to be brought in, rather than looking at stuff on the shelf. BarryinIN
I have a 4x Leupold Compact Rimfire on the .22 I use most. It's usually enough, but the 2-7x version could be useful at times (at both ends of the magnification scale). They have some Extended Focal Range versions of other scopes they make, but then they start getting big for a .22 scope.
Shannow
On .22s, I'm pretty happy with 4x, and have been for nearly 30 years.Wife's Brno has a spectacular 4x on it, and makes my forays into 3-9 at the range look silly in actuality.
