Advise on cutting foam in new rifle case

All,

I just purchased a SKB 3i-5014-6B-L from Canyonwest Cases. Don at Canyonwest is really great to deal with and I'd recommend giving them a shot if you are shopping for a case.

The case comes with foam layers that need to be cut to fit your gun.

Does anyone have advice on how to get the best looking cutout possible? This was not a cheap case and I want the cutout to look clean and professional.

I also am considering offsetting the AR, which will allow room for a couple pistol and magazine cutouts. Do you think this is a good idea or bad idea?

Thanks,

Wayne
