dnewton3
Don't think, man. Do! Hesitation is the errant child of mediocrity!Just kidding. :-)You'll really be impressed, should you choose to purchase.

dnewton3
I don't know that there is much more I can tell you to convince you. Clearly I've made the case, but on the other hand, I understand that at some point, enough is enough. I, too, have passed on some purchases because I have become saturated on some level. These are, after all, toys (for a lack of a better term) that are "wants" and not "needs". Pilgrim
Like many people, I've owned both. Choose your poison.Minuses:10/22 - standard barreled models are less accurate than many 22 riflesM60 - needs to be cleaned every 250 rounds or so to avoid feeding problems.Pluses:10/22 - Ultra reliableM60 - Very accurate on averageEvery tube fed model 60 I've owned has been reliable when cleaned regularly. And the least accurate of them was more accurate than the most accurate 10/22 I've had.The 10/22 is more dependable and the king of the 22 semi-automatic rifle modification/customization world. Personally, I would also consider the Remington 597. It's every bit as accurate as the M60 and probably more reliable. I also think it fits the average sized adult better than the other two as well.
