It has a 16-1/8" threaded barrel, scope rail on the receiver, and a Flat Dark Earth stock. More zip than a .38, less recoil and flash than a .357, maybe simpler to load if using moon clips. The S&W 940 had trouble with the tapered 9mm case squirting rearward upon firing and locking it up.
