Astro14
That's a nice looking rifle! My DPMS .308 works well, but a gas piston design should run more cleanly and the way this one is outfitted (folding sights, etc) is very nice as well. steves
This may age me but when the Mini 14 first came onto the market there was much range talk about if Ruger would make a 308 mini. This SR-762 is better.
Pablo
Price tag is a barrier. Any hard use field reports yet?

BarryinIN
Price tag is a barrier. Any hard use field reports yet? It seems like I heard or saw that SWAT magazine was going to have a review soon. Hopefully they will run it through a class and get at least 800-1,000 rounds through it in a short period, although they seem to be slipping in that regard. dnewton3
It's the cover story for G&A mag this month. Nice write up. My only complaint about this is the price. This is essentially a limited-application weapon. I could spend that same amount on two rifles (AR-15 and a bolt action) and get the same use from them. Pablo
I would say at that price tag, that gun has a pretty fat margin. I'm holding off. Still have strong "me want" feelings.

Best to wait and let others work out the bugs.
